Crisis on the Planet of the Apes is the first VR game to be released out of the slate of VR games I creatively led and produced at Fox.

One of the core goals for the game was to make the player feel like an intelligent ape. We achieved this goal through our naturalistic movement systems, minimalist UI, and unique cover-based combat system.

One of my key accomplishments was transforming the original non-game concept into a 1.5 - 2 hour VR game with minimal budget impact

Immersive audio design was a huge focus and I ended up finding a lot of success separating my audio direction scene-by-scene into six layers ranked by priority : player sounds / foley, dialog (all diegetic), diegetic audio FX, reflect / reverb environment setup, background / ambient soundscape, music / score (non-diegetic)

Imaginati, the primary UK-based game developer for Crisis, were fantastic partners as they shared our vision and dedication to making a new type of VR game with an amazing IP
