Description :
An 11-part virtual reality thriller, GONE centers on Meredith Clover, a mother consumed with the search for her missing daughter. Nine-year-old Emilia Clover vanishes impossibly in broad daylight before a dozen baffled useless witnesses. Navigating a complicated trail of increasingly surreal clues in addition to her own daughter's closely guarded secrets, Meredith discovers that her Emilia is much more than simply gone. GONE immerses visitors in the mystery by allowing visitors to navigate multiple points of view during each episode.

Gone was an ambitious project involving serious collaboration between Wevr, Skybound, and Samsung to create an interactive episodic 360 video immediately following Gear VR product launch
I really enjoyed working on this project as it represented the perfect storm of challenges to overcome in the world of immersive storytelling : interactive narratives, user experience design, and creative workflows
I think the final solution for supporting interactivity within 360 videos was a great compromise : allow participants to move freely between three and seven hot-spots / camera angles while the core episode plays out beginning to end
